Thu, 19 Apr 2007Tumultuous change hereabouts. After a mere 23 years, I've stopped using emacs for writing code (having switched from it to TextMate for Ruby). And after a mere four years, I've switched my blogging tool from blosxom to Wordpress. Yes, there are comments. They may even work. You may thank Kevin Lawrence for finally shaming me into making the weblog switch, and American Airlines for getting my wife to London twelve hours late (so far), which gave me the time to write an incredibly long first entry (my SPA 2007 keynote). The new blog's address is http://www.exampler.com/blog. Things like the blogroll and look'n'feel customization won't happen soon (since it appears my wife is on the plane and the plane is in the air). This is the another step in my multi-decade switch from testing.com to exampler.com. "Exampling", though not a verb, is a better description of what I do now. It includes testing, but has a larger scope.

Mon, 06 Oct 2003If you subscribed to this blog's RSS feed but never got any updates, it's because I used a bad relative link. It caused you to only get updates to category "blog". This is the first one ever. Change your subscription to this: http://www.exampler.com/old-blog/index.rss If you have been getting updates, don't change anything. Sorry. |
