Seeking victim or perpetrator
For an upcoming Better
Software issue on computer security, I'd like a "front line"
piece written by a victim or perpetrator of some sort of interesting
security event. Possible titles: "Confessions of a Virus Writer", "I
am a White Hat Hacker", "My Day in DDoS Hell", etc.
Such articles typically start off with a story, then expand out to
a few generalizations. They're usually pretty easy to write: just
write down what you'd tell someone over beers. (Here's a
PDF sample.)
1200
to 1500 words. First draft deadline is June 12.
If you're interested, mail
me. Thanks.
